Eyelash extensions are a cosmetic application that enhances the length, curl, fullness, and thickness of the natural lashes. Our faux mink Borboleta Beauty extensions are made of unique synthetic yarn fibers that are soft and light. These lashes are a deep matte black and never lose their curl.
The eyelash extension application process is a pain-free and relaxing one that most clients fall asleep to. However, improper application by an unqualified artist can cause damage to your natural lashes. We recommend only using a licensed, certified professional.
Since eyelash extensions are semi-permanent and can last only as long as the growth cycle of the natural lashes, they are not immune to lash shedding. They are attached to the natural lashes and fall out with them. This means that you can expect your lash extensions to last about 4 to 6 weeks at the very most with proper home care.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your lash appointment because each booking is time set aside exclusively for you. As a boutique studio, appointment availability is limited, and your deposit helps reduce last-minute cancellations and no-shows while allowing us to serve clients fairly.
The good news? Your deposit is applied toward the total cost of your service on the day of your appointment—it isn't an extra fee. This policy helps us keep our schedule running smoothly and ensures every client has the opportunity to book the time they need.
You may opt to use Zelle or Venmo for your deposit.

To respect both our artists' time and other clients hoping to book an appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Appointments canceled, rescheduled, or missed within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will forfeit the original deposit. A new $50 non-refundable deposit will be required to book a new appointment.
Providing advance notice allows us the opportunity to offer your reserved time to another client and helps keep our schedule running smoothly.

Parking is easy and stress-free. There is plenty of free street parking on the surrounding residential streets near 7617 Melrose Ave, including Curson Avenue and Stanley Avenue, which are just a short walk from the studio.
If you prefer to park directly on Melrose Avenue, metered street parking is also available. Most clients have no trouble finding a spot, so you can arrive relaxed and ready for your appointment.

We welcome clients coming from other lash studios. If you have at least 50% of your existing eyelash extensions remaining and your current set is compatible with the lash curls, lengths, and products we carry, we can perform a fill. A $35 “outside fill fee” will be added to your service to account for the extra time needed to assess and blend another artist's work.
If fewer than 50% of your extensions remain, or if we do not stock the original curl, length, or style needed to create a seamless result, an eyelash extension removal and a new full set will be required. This ensures the healthiest application for your natural lashes and the beautiful, consistent finish we're known for.

While eyelash extensions are safe for most people, there are a few situations where we may be unable to perform the service. For your safety and to ensure the best results, we cannot apply eyelash extensions if you:
Have an active eye infection, such as pink eye (conjunctivitis), a stye, or another contagious eye condition.
Have recently undergone eye surgery (including LASIK, cataract surgery, or other procedures) and have not yet been cleared by your physician.
Have open wounds, severe irritation, or inflammation around the eye area.
Are unable to lie comfortably with your eyes closed for the duration of the appointment.
Have excessive involuntary eye twitching that would make the service unsafe.
Arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
If you have allergies, sensitive eyes, or a medical condition affecting your eyes or lashes, please let us know before booking. We're happy to discuss your concerns and determine whether eyelash extensions are a safe and suitable option for you. Your eye health will always come first.

We understand that unexpected delays happen! However, to keep our schedule running smoothly and respect the appointments of every client, we ask that you arrive on time.
If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, we may not have enough time to complete your service as originally booked. If you still choose to be seen, please understand that your appointment will be shortened, and the result may be an unfinished lash set or fill due to the limited time available.
If you prefer to reschedule instead, your original appointment will be considered a late cancellation, your original deposit will be forfeited, and a new $50 non-refundable deposit will be required to reserve a new appointment.
We appreciate your understanding, as this policy allows us to provide every client with the time and quality of service they deserve.

A little preparation goes a long way toward making your appointment as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Since a full set typically takes about 2 hours, we recommend the following:
Eat a meal beforehand so you can relax comfortably without getting hungry during your appointment.
Bring earbuds (preferred over bulky headphones) if you'd like to listen to music, a podcast, or an audiobook while you unwind.
Bring a bottled water to stay hydrated throughout your visit.
Arrive with clean lashes free of eye makeup, mascara, eyeliner, oils, or heavy skincare around the eyes.
Use the restroom before your appointment to avoid interruptions once your service begins.
Silence your phone before application.
Many clients choose to take a nap during their appointment, so come comfortable, settle in, and we’ll take care of the rest.
